Devyn Peterson enjoys two-win weekend at US 30 and Beatrice
Milford, Nebraska’s Devyn Peterson returned to action on Thursday afternoon at US 30 Speedway (Columbus, Neb.) aboard his Nebraska811 No. 5D IMCA SportMod.
Following a third-to-first showing in his heat race, Peterson charged from the sixth-starting spot in the feature into the lead on the sixth circuit and never looked back, sailing to his first win of the 2023 campaign. He bagged a $500 payday 2.316 seconds ahead of James Roebuck with Robbie Thome, Brandon Spanjer, and Mary Hahn rounding out the top-five.
The following night saw Peterson compete at a different track in Beatrice Speedway (Beatrice, Neb.) but the night ended with the same result. Amongst a field of 27 cars, Devyn came in fourth in his heat before grabbing his second win in as many nights in the main event. The $600 victory elevated his weekend earnings to $1,100.
